About Donnie

Originally from a remote rural community in the Scottish Highlands, I have lived in Barcelona since 2008. I understand the difficulties that living abroad can sometimes cause, and have years of experience helping people in similar situations.

I am fascinated by the healing potential of psychedelic-assisted therapy, and I am currently working on several projects exploring the potential of psychedelics for treating PTSD and grief. My latest co-authored publication, looks at how ayahuasca-assisted therapy can help people overcome complex grief. I collaborate with the pro-psychedelic therapy LifeHouse Barcelona project.

Another study I co-authored, looking at ayahuasca and complex can be found here.
